It was beautiful out there on the water and we could have made it much further through the canals in Naples were it not that my semi-waterproof bag of necessities (key, phone, money) slipped away at some point and once I discovered it gone I was compelled to return.
Way too bad to have to go back, but oh-so luckily someone had found it bobbing in the water near the take-off point et voila! Oh happy happy me. I’ll gladly go again, and there are places closer too, at Marina del Rey for example, which also offer kayak rentals.
