This is another one of the stops in the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa. Christians these days don’t seem to be making too much of a fuss over Jerusalem but not to forget the Crusader occupation of a hundred years or so. And not to forget the recent calls for a New Crusade, or plans for the Second Coming.
I just got an email from Roger and he says this: “I once heard a Muslim leader in L.A. address an interfaith gathering this way: “Thank God,” he said and paused, “that Buddha and Krishna did not also go to Jerusalem!””
