The Ranch Memorial Weekend 2026
Everyone’s favorite weekend.

From around the circle, the same two horses above and below.

Bingo loves to walk with everyone, he stayed with us all the way around. The trees in front are part of the fruit tree explosion at The Ranch, there are new ones every year and some of them are already providing a bountiful harvest.

These are bee hives and there are many more, placed in twos, around the property. You can see another set in the photo above.

Barbara made everyone welcome chamomile tea from these very flowers harvested by the ladies who help out doing whatever needs doing.

Henry lives on in glory!

On the far right you can see some stand-up planters. Jerry is going to put them by the houses they rent out (Pinnacles Country Inn and The Ranch Store) with radishes, carrots, etc so the visitors can help themselves to fresh vegetables. Sounds delightful!

Next year we’ll see where all these found their home.

A bit of the pool area. The pool house kitchen and dining tables are on the other side of the pool.

A few people who usually drive together drove separately this year making for a lot of cars, but no problem, there’s room, and there’s even a parking lot over by the basketball court and the library.

Connor and I had some fun playing Crazy Eights and War.

It takes a village to cook dinner!

Bonnie and Naomi led us in the Shabbat traditions.

Wait, what’s going on here?!

It’s a BABY! Congratulations to Samara and Brett and to the over-the-moon grandparents Sandy and Lew!!

Lew and Sandy reflected in Carl’s glasses, and there’s a little of me back there too, as we gather to go out for breakfast at a bakery that’s open 9-3 Saturday mornings and usually sells out by noon.

You pick up the delicious bakery items inside and get beverages here.

These are all cutouts, and the Farmer in the Dell.

More of all what you need to run a ranch, and the store is there too…

…a close up of the store. Take a look, they deliver! Pinnacles Country Inn and The Ranch Store.

Ben and Bonnie, arm in arm.

Naomi and Rita, walking the circle in the ‘other’ direction.

The walkers! One walked up but not down, and one walked down but not up, and the rest walked up and down, and no one had to call for an emergency evacuation.

That’s Rita opening the gate so we can walk a very (very) short distance up the hill to try to get a picture of the ranch.

This is the best I could do.

Sports! Ping pong, basketball, tennis, and a barn full of All the indoor games.

Barbara gave the guy who feeds the animals the day off and took on the job herself. Those hay squares surely do kick off a lot of hay dust. One of these pictures has more dust and more flare but both are too adorable to miss.

The Last Supper. We were going to make sad faces and Jerry and Barbara were going to look relieved.

From a last turn on the circle with Sandy, who inspired this fun.

‘Till we meet again.
